Apollo Atepomarus
Inscription at Mauvieres, France; Apollo's epithet is sometimes translated as 'great horseman' or 'possessing a great horse'.
Apollo Belenus
Apollo the Brilliant or Bright; a solar- and healing-god. He was the Gaulish god of light called "The Shining One". His cult was found in northern Italy to southern Gaul, Noricum and Britain. He protected sheep and cattle. His wife was the goddess Belisama. They are comparable to Apollo and Minerva, with the latter equating to the Celtic celestial goddess variously known as Brigantia. He might have some relation to the Irish god Bile.
Apollo Cunomaglus
"Hound Lord". Known from a shrine at Nettleton Shrub, Wiltshire; the shrine may have been a healing sanctuary, but Diana and Silvanus were also worshipped there, suggesting Cunomaglus was a god of hunting. However, hunting and healing cults were often linked. Green, 1992a, 31-32.
Apollo Grannus
Solar god associated with thermal healing springs, he was known over much of Europe. He had temples at Grand in the Vosges, and Aachen (Aquae Granni). He was found from Brittany to the Danube, including a temple at Brigetio, where was also his probable consort Brigantia. An inscription to Apollo Grannos was found at Musselburgth, Scotland. Elsewhere he was paired with Sirona.
Apollo Moritsages
‘Masses of sea water’. His dedication found at a healing shrine and temple at Alesia along with Damona. The dedication refers to a sacred pool in which the sick could bathe, and surgical tools are found there. Green, 1992a, 32.
Apollo Toutiorix
An inscription found at Wiesbaden; Toutiorix is thought to be the same as Teutates.
Apollo Vindonnus
"Clear Light". Vindonnus was a sun and healing god with a temple at Essarois, near Chatillon-sur-Seine. Seems to have been a god who cured eye diseases.
Apollo Virotutis
'Benefactor of humanity'; worshipped in Gaul. Green 1992, 32.

so the way i understand it is these gods were linked to apollo... is that right? and i guess that they were linked because it made it easier to explain the gods to the romans??
this is a mystery to me.
