there are conflicting stories about Aericura in the sites that i've been using to post the gods...
from one site i get this about Aericura:
"Gaulish chthonic underworld goddess known from inscriptions. Her name could be related to Breton Aeruiu, 'combat' or 'bloody'?
She is associated with a three-headed dog that recalls the Greco-Roman Cerberus. She is probably the same as Heracura. In southern Europe and the Balkans she was worshipped in partnership with Dis Pater. The Celtic god Aericurus, known from an inscription at Corbridge, Northumberland, is probably her male equivalent."

and from another i get this about Aericura:
"A Romano-Celtic chthonic underworld god."
and this about Aericura:
"Celto-Germanic mother/underworld goddess, consort of Dis Pater. Protector of humans in the afterlife. A male equivalent, Aericurus, was found in Northumberland England."
when i googled Aericura's name i came up with responses that mostly indicated she was a goddess.
there is also Aeracura:
Earth goddess of the Rhine valley.

I see from your post that the difference seems to be between the Gaulish Celts and those influenced by the Roman people. Perhaps it is merely the fact of this being one of those deities that was merged with the Roman counterparts?
