How do you guys feel about that? Now I understand that part of the reasons why candles are discarded is because energy is left on the candles. I hear some people return them to the earth, others just throw them away even the left over melted wax.
Depending on the spell, like one for protection, I may create an amulet and put the wax in there for protection.
Lately, I've been in the habit of cutting my candles in half and then doing the spells. Save money that way, if you know what I mean....
I usually just continue to use my God(gold) candle and my Goddess(silver) candles. Because I don't see an issue, the energy is going to be same God or Goddess.
What do you guys do?

I save and reuse the leftover wax depending on what i used the candle for. If its a positive energy type working or say prosperity, i just save it and label what i used it for then when i have enough left over I make a new candle and cleanse and empower it anew. But for removing negativity or something along those lines... I usually discard it. I try to stick with tea candles for mosst workings though so the problem doesnt come up and im not spending major bucks on candles.

I generally discard what's left. However, when I burn candles for a spell, I generally craft the spells for length of time needed to burn the candle out completely. Generally there isn't much left when I'm done.
sometimes the spell requires that I dispose of them when I'm done.... but I see nothing wrong with using them over once melted down and recharged.
