Ok... for starters, before you use any foot balms, try scrubbing your feet with sea salt to remove any dead skin. Start by soaking your feet for about 10 minutes or so then scrubbing your feet vigorously with the salt. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Then apply the balm.
Beeswax gives the skin a creamy feel. It coats the skin, which helps to keep it hydrated, and the resins in it also acts as a natural antibiotic, thus helping to heal any minor infections that you may or may not see in cracked skin.
Wheat Germ Oil is also very effective in healing dry skin. It's high levels of vitamins E & B help in smoothing and nourishing the skin.
Try soaking your feet for 10-15 minutes, add baking soda to help deodorize and cleanse. Scrub with the sea salt, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Massage the balm into your feet. Place your feet in plastic bags and then put your socks on over them and leave them like that for approx an hour or so to let the balm soak in.
