I figure that Betaine is half the way between Equinox & Solstice, which would make Beltaine today & tomorrow.
I have some big plans for my gardening activities today... cutting back the small-leafed ivy that has grown into the area I've been trench-composting for a working garden... making a cutting from my trichocereus brigesii (a legal Entheogen who produces mescaline) cactus, and perhaps unraveling the mystery of why the pesky snails keep trying to eat my San Pedro (another & more common legal Entheogen who produces mescaline) cactuses. It sure isn't because they like the flavor... Why would common garden snails be interested in having Visions of the Spirit World?

*chuckles* I have no idea why a snail would need to have visions of the Spirit World..... perhaps they too need to escape from the tedium of their lives at times?? Hmmm .....
Your Beltane sounds like it was very productive. Thank you for the post. As for mine..... my sisters and I held an impromtu bonfire ritual. The weather had been nasty and wet, so we weren't certain we were going to be able to get anything accomplished. We used the time granted to charge several items and prepare ourselves for the change of power. My daughter participated again this time. I haven't begun any 'formal' training with her, but she has expressed the desire to at least be there for the last few Sabbats...
