to all beginners. Although i am probably not as adept or experienced as the people who have already posted messages on this topic i would like to give you all some advice from my own experiences. Probably the best advise i can give you is to put all your books away for a week or two. In these weeks use your intuition, write your own rituals, try your own circle casting and find your own ways or connecting with divinity. i know how easy it is when you start out to rely on those books for everything, and dont get me wrong many of them are fantastic and you can learn a lot from them but they cannot replace your own experiences. i would like to say one more thing, the craft does need dedication and can be at times hard work but dint give up, it is truly worth it i promise you. i wish you luck in everything you do whatever path you take. Brightest Blessings Amanda xxx ps im sorry if any of this didnt make sense, im not great with words

It made perfect sense Amanda. And I think it to be very wise advise. Though you should know what your elements stand for and what/ why you are calling on them for. Thanks for the suggestion!

to this good post I would also like to add or more like emphsise the need and practice of meditation and affrimations. When exploring the paths of witchcraft it is good to meditate for 15 - 20 minutes. This gives you a clearer perspective on what you are about to do and as a self. Meditation is a HUGE and MAJOR tool in witchcraft! Though alot may feel its boring or takes too long, but trust me its a need!!!! and I do it as a requirement before all spell work!
