There was a young brave and a grandfather discussing their visions after a sweat. The grandfather related that in his vision, there were two wolves. It appeared that they were locked in battle with each other. One wolf was Hate, and the other Love. Every so often they would break from each other and sit to either side of him for a spell, and then they would drive towards each other again to battle fiercly once more. And so it went until the end of time. The young brave asked, "But Grandfather, which wolf was the stronger? Which wolf won?" and the Grandfather replied.......... "Whichever one I would feed more." From this story is a universal truth. Battles of good and evil, love or hate, that we fight amongst ourselves or even within ourselves will be measured by which wolf we choose to feed. No matter how we feel, we must learn to step outside of our lodge (selves) and see the damage or good done by our choices. We can apply this axoim to our everday lives at many junctures. My advise to everyone ...... Choose your wolf wisely. Sage

Its one of my favorite stories too. It was related to me during a sweat, and I felt it would be nice to share it with others......
I do believe it is nearly time to view myself again and see which wolf has been fed more......
