I am a solitary practicioner sort of witch, and I use the standard Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram (LBRP) and often include the Rose Cross whenever I am doing carefully planned spellwork - the big kind.
But I like to do everyday magic too - a little lift here, a tiny help there, and I feel a little different when I do such "kitchen magic" (to use the descriptor loosely).
So, for these smaller spells, I would like to do an LBRP type ritual, but I would like to call and honor the american indian spirts - the shamanistic earth spirits that help me more with everyday spiritual things - for instance, Grandmother Earth and Grandfather sky, the Sun, the Moon, the Rock, the River, the Thunderbirds, and the Winds.
In my mind/heart - I feel my greatest kinship to the old celtic/gaelic earth spirits and the american earth spirits, but I must admit that my High Magic rituals work most excellently. But like I said, I think I would find more joy in working magic in honor of the spirits I love best.
Anybody have any suggestions or know of any tried-and-true rituals that fit this need?
I sure would appreciate it!
